Crisfled "Crabby" Award for Excellence in Blogging.
Crisfield Crabby Award for Excellence in The Art of Blogging

There are so many negatives blogs floating around it makes my head swim. Why do some people always have to mess up a good thing?

I started my little blog because I wanted to share the beauty of our town with other bloggers, and I wanted to learn about their towns and the people who live in them.

I love small towns. I especially love photographs of small towns.

While surfing the great blogosphere, I have been able to interact with some wonderful people as close as Baltimore, and as far away as Afghanistan. Baltimore is not exactly a small town, but the blogger who runs it is delightful.

So, I thought I would offer up a little award in honor of all you nice people whose sole reasons for blogging are to share your world, and meet new people across the globe.

If you wish to apply for this award just send me your address and I will get back with you within seven days.

The criterion for the award is simple:

Naturally, no adult material.

A little swearing is OK, as long as you are dishing yourself, as in, “ Holy ****, I can’t believe I ran the car into the garage.” You get the idea.

No politics.

I especially love old photos, poetry, literature, and travel blogs.

Basically, informative and friendly blogs are my cup of tea.

Those who are approved can download the above award. Please add a link back to: http://crisfieldnews.blogspot.com

Where did I come up with the name? Crisfield, Maryland is known as the “Seafood Capitol of the World.” It is quite possible, that wherever you live, you may have eaten oysters, clams, or crabs supplied by one of our hardworking watermen. We are really famous for our crabs, so there you have it in a... crab shell.

Yes, the word “crabby” is synonymous with grumpy, but don’t get the wrong idea. We are a super friendly town. I just liked the way it sounded.
